EBOOK VISTA DIGITAL EDUCATION (hereinafter referred to as "our company") is operated by JXN JAPAN GROUP, and in order to properly handle your personal information, we have established and will comply with the following terms of use.

Article 1 (Application) These Terms apply to all relationships between you and EBOOK VISTA DIGITAL EDUCATION (managed by JXN JAPAN GROUP) regarding the use of this service. In addition to these Terms, we may make various provisions regarding this service, such as rules for use (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Provisions"). Regardless of their name, these Individual Provisions shall constitute a part of these Terms.

Article 2 (User Registration) For this service, the person who wishes to register agrees to these terms and conditions, applies for user registration in a manner specified by our company, and the user registration is completed when our company approves the application. If our company determines that the applicant for user registration has any of the following reasons, it may not approve the application for user registration and shall not be obligated to disclose the reason.

  • If there is any falsehood in the registration information
  • If the application is from someone who has previously violated these terms and conditions
  • Any other case in which the Company determines that registration is inappropriate

Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password) Customers shall manage their user ID and password for this service at their own responsibility. Customers may not transfer or lend their user ID and password to a third party under any circumstances. If a user ID and password combination matches the registered information and is used to log in, the Company will consider that the user ID is being used by the customer who registered it.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts) When using the Service, you must not engage in the following acts.

  • Actions that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  • Any activity related to criminal activity
  • Any act that disrupts or interferes with the functioning of our servers or networks
  • Commercially using information obtained through this service
  • Any act that may disrupt the operation of our services
  • Unauthorized access or attempted access
  • Collecting or storing personal information about other users
  • Using the Service for illegal purposes
  • Any action that causes disadvantage, damage, or offense to other users of the Service or other third parties.
  • Impersonating other users
  • Any publicity, advertising, solicitation, or sales activities on the Service that are not permitted by the Company
  • Actions aimed at meeting members of the opposite sex who the person has not met
  • Any act of directly or indirectly providing benefits to antisocial forces in relation to our services
  • Any other actions that the Company deems inappropriate

Article 5 (Suspension of provision of this service, etc.) If the Company determines that any of the following circumstances exist, the Company may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of this service without prior notice to the customer.

  • When carrying out maintenance, inspection, or updates of computer systems related to the Service
  • When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fires, power outages, or other natural disasters
  • When a computer or communication line is stopped due to an accident
  • Any other case in which the Company determines it is difficult to provide the Service.

We shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by you or any third party due to the suspension or interruption of the provision of this service.

Article 6 (Restrictions on Use and Cancellation of Registration) In the following cases, we may restrict your use of all or part of the Service or cancel your registration without prior notice.

  • If you violate any provision of these Terms and Conditions
  • If it is discovered that there is a false statement in the registration information
  • If there is a default in payment obligations such as fees
  • If there is no response to our contact for a certain period of time
  • If the Service has not been used for a certain period of time since the last use
  • Any other case in which the Company determines that use of the Service is inappropriate

The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the customer as a result of any actions taken by the Company under this Article.

Article 7 (Cancellation) You may cancel your membership from this service by following the cancellation procedures specified by our company.

Article 8 (Disclaimer of Warranty and Disclaimer) We do not guarantee, either explicitly or implicitly, that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, suitability for a specific purpose, security, etc., errors and bugs, infringement of rights, etc.). We shall not be liable for any damage caused to you by the Service. However, if the contract between us and you regarding the Service (including these Terms) is a consumer contract as defined in the Consumer Contract Act, this disclaimer shall not apply. Even in the case specified in the proviso of the preceding paragraph, we shall not be liable for any damage caused to you by our negligence (excluding gross negligence) that arises from special circumstances (including cases where we or you foresaw or could have foreseen the occurrence of the damage). In addition, compensation for damage caused to you by our negligence (excluding gross negligence) shall be limited to the amount of the service fee received from you in the month in which the damage occurred.

Article 9 (Changes to the Service Content, etc.) We reserve the right to change the content of this Service or to discontinue its provision without notice to you, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by you as a result thereof.

Article 10 (Changes to Terms of Use) The Company reserves the right to change these Terms at any time without notifying the Customer if it deems it necessary. In addition, if the Customer begins to use the Service after the Terms have been changed, the Customer will be deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.

Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information) Personal information obtained through the use of this service will be handled appropriately in accordance with our "Privacy Policy."

Article 12 (Notice or Contact) Any notice or contact between the customer and the Company shall be made in the manner specified by the Company. Unless the customer notifies the Company of any changes in accordance with the method separately specified by the Company, the Company shall deem the currently registered contact information to be valid, and shall notify or contact the customer via said contact information, and shall deem such information to have reached the customer at the time of sending.

Article 13 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations) You may not transfer or pledge as security to a third party your status under the Service Agreement or any rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without our prior written consent.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) The interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of our head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
